A Long Time

Gosh, it's been a while since I have posted. Sorry about the long delay, but it has been very hectic and busy here. Hope everyone is well, and all is great. How's the weather been? Wonderful Candles

I have been making candles for the last few years. Some scents are so popular I sell them has fast has they're made which is wonderful. The most popular is Chanel #5 followed by Pink Sugar and so on. Soon I will be posting a few on my Etsy site to see how they do. I'm just worried about the cost to ship due to their weight. That's one of the main reason I have been selling mainly around town. I guess it wouldn't hurt.  :O)  Here are a couple of sets I have done.

The first set is cherry vanilla scent that I made and prepared in coke glasses and sealed with heavy plastic. It is a set of three which involves one 16 oz, and two 8 oz candles.

The second set would make you think of Grandma's house when she's baking. It contains a set of three candles in flip top canisters in the scents of hot apple pie, blueberry cobbler, and angel food cake. Each candle is 10 oz.

Mysteries of the Spirit World

Last night I was feeling mysterious, so I decided to put together a treasury of Spirit Dolls called “Spirit of the Soul”. Come on over and check out all the wonderful art dolls by a lot of talented artist.

I’m working on another Giveaway, but haven’t yet decided what I will be giving away. Once I decide and get everything together I will be posting the information. Hopefully, there will be a lot more people entering this next time. :o)

I’m currently doing some thinking of something that I can create that will be something good. Just quite haven’t be able to put my finger on what it is yet, but when I do I will make it. That is all I have for now, so until next time ta da.

Getting back in the flow...

Sorry for the long delay since my last posting. I would like to thank everyone for all the well wishes, and prayers during the last few weeks. I am during fine, and my recovery is going well. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July, and everyone is doing great.

Save the Coast

By now you all have probably heard about the BIG oil mess in the Gulf. There are a lot of people disgusted, and aggravated with the ways things are being handled. One individual has step forward to do his part to help.  jojosart on Etsy has prepared a wonderful print to help "Save the Coast". For every print he sells $10 will go toward the recovery efforts to help with this problem. It's Friday!!

Just a quick little note. Friday is finally here. Things have been so busy and hectic these last few weeks. I just don't seem to have enough time to get things done. Whew!!! Thank goodness the weekend is here. :O)

I have some new pictures to share as soon as I can get them downloaded. We finally got to eat the first pickings of yellow squash, they sure were good. The bell peppers and tomatoes are producing like crazy. Not quite ready, but are getting close to being ready. The other plants are starting to show signs of the veggies starting. The baby chicks are doing great, and just run the backyard like they own it. LOL. They are so comical to watch at times. Well, that is all for now.

Latch Hook Project and Pictures

Sorry I haven't been blogging a whole lot lately. I have a few things I have to get taken care of, so I have had a lot on my mind.

I finally got my rainbow trout latch hook project finished. Here are the pictures I took since the last ones.

Sugar Bear was laying on the back of the couch snoozing, she looked so cute so I had to get a picture. Gosh, she really looks so relaxed and comfortable.  

The garden is doing very well. I'm waiting patiently for all the fresh veggies to be ready for picking.  :O)   Seems to be taking forever for them to be ready.

Rooter was in a showing off mood, so I took so pictures of him. He is such a trip to watch at times.

I have some new project ideas that I will began working on soon. Hope they turn out the way I'm planning on them to. I will see once I get working on them. That's all I have at this time, so I will be heading out.

So Fresh

Treasury and Latest Project

One of my pair of earrings made it into a treasury called "May 18 is Museum Day!" made by niftyknits. Be sure to check out the treasury before it expires on Sunday, and niftyknits wonderful shop. She makes the cutest hand knitted meerkats, trekkies, cards and other things.

Earlier this year I purchased some handmade papercut colorful goldfish (set of 10) made by swipxa. Be sure to check out his shop. He makes the prettiest handmade papercuts, and there are so many to choose from. I spent weeks trying to come up with an idea so I could display my goldfish. After weeks of thinking I got a huge poster type frame and blue paper. On the paper I put some aquarium plants and colored, arranged the goldfish and sealed the frame. It turned out very nice, and currently is displayed to the left of my dining room for all to see. I've tried several pictures, but it just doesn't look as pretty as it does in person.

It's Friday!!!

It is finally Friday, woohoo!!!! Sorry for the long delay since the last posting. I'm finally getting caught up on everything, and getting back on track. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts that were offered during my time of absent. It was so nice to see all the convos, and emails that were received. :O)  Other then that all is going pretty good.

The garden is growing up a storm, and the first of the veggies are starting to show.

The baby chicks are doing great, and are so cute running around chasing bugs, and following momma around. We have lost a few due to a stupid hawk, as well as the neighbor’s cat that we're currently having to deal with.

I guess you can tell by the pictures we have all chicken types. Some were given to us by friends and neighbors, and the others were hatched and raised by them. That is how it all got started years ago.  :O)

Just a Quick Note and Some Pictures

Latch Hook Project and Other Items

Last week I started a latch hook project which is coming along very well. I’m almost to the halfway mark, and wanted to share some pictures that was taken along the way.

In case you haven't guessed, it will be of a rainbow trout when it's completed.  :O)

Before starting my latch hook project I completed a needlepoint project that my husband has confiscated, advised that he would be framing it and hanging it in the house. So needless to say I won’t be putting it up for sell, but wanted to share a picture of it.

Last and behold my son bought me a different type of dream catcher, it is so beautiful, and I wanted to share it.
